OUR WORK

Our visitor attractions and learning programmes inspire people of all ages and from all backgrounds.

They demonstrate the importance of law and justice in our lives by offering fun, engaging and thought-provoking experiences.

And our arts and public engagement programmes are helping to bring communities together, attracting new audiences to the culture sector.

Our Vision

"Through centres of excellence building understanding of the law, justice system and related histories, we inspire people to play an active role in society and make informed decisions about how they live and work"

SUPPORTERS

We are grateful to the many supporters and funders who have helped the National Justice Museum over the years. We would not be where we are today without them.

A MUSEUM OF THE 21 CENTURY

In 2017, the National Justice Museum was relaunched following a £1m redevelopment and restoration scheme at its historic Nottingham site.

This work improved the not only the overall visitor experience, but also enabled us to offer a wider range of exhibitions and activities, with new spaces for free exhibitions.

And, in 2018 we gained Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation recognition for our work. This is helping us to build our arts and engagement activities and appeal to a wider range of audiences than ever before.
