Court in Session (Key Stage 2 – 5)

These thought-provoking courtroom workshops explore a contemporary criminal or civil case.

Students will:

  • Explore the roles in a courtroom
  • Prepare and enact a trial based on a real contemporary case
  • Discuss and debate real sentencing options
  • Learn about the law and justice system and consequences of breaking the law
  • Be encouraged to use their rights and responsibilities to be become more active citizens

Curriculum links: PSHE, Citizenship, English and Law

Duration: Two hours

Location: Nottingham, London and the North West

Cost: Varies dependent on location and ranges from £7.50 – £8.50
