Education Events with the National Justice Museum

We host regular education open evenings, CPD opportunities and events for teaching professionals across our sites throughout the year. Teachers who attend these events receive exclusive insights and offers and also help us to shape future education programmes. If you’re interested in finding out more and attending a future event please email education@nationaljusticemuseum.org.uk  

Relevant subjects: Events are particularly useful for school trip, history, citizenship, PSHE, SMSC, British Values, careers and enrichment coordinators across all key stages as well as law and criminology lecturers.

Education Open Evening (Nottingham)
Wednesday 27 September 2017 4pm-6pm at the National Justice Museum, Nottingham

An exclusive free event for teachers and educators.

Welcome drinks will be followed by the opportunity to:

  • Explore our brand new free exhibition spaces
  • Meet the National Justice Museum Education team
  • Network with like-minded professionals
  • Hear the latest from ChalleNGe (Nottingham’s Cultural Education Partnership) and The Mighty Creatives (The young people’s creative development agency)
  • Take part in 2 short interactive workshops

Workshops on offer include:

  • Website focus group: Teachers/educators can share their thoughts and views on our new website
  • Creative Court UK: Experience our artist designed ‘Pop-up Courtroom’ and find out more about this new Arts Council England (ACE) funded outreach programme which will be visiting schools in Nottinghamshire later this year

Be inspired and supported to try something new this academic year and consider how this iconic local heritage site can be used as a catalyst for creative cultural learning.

  • Meet the National Justice Museum Education team
  • Network with like-minded professionals
  • Be updated on our latest workshops, projects and programmes for schools and groups
  • Discover our artist designed ‘Pop-up Courtroom’
  • Sign up to our teacher panel
