Educational Visits in the North West

National Justice Museum Education delivers inspiring educational visits in the North West. We currently offer school trips and workshops in legal and heritage sites across Manchester and Bolton. Sites we use for sessions include Manchester Crown Court and Civil Justice Centre, The Moot Court at Bolton University and Greater Manchester Police Museum.

In addition to our core programme of courtroom workshops, we also work with a range of partner organisations to deliver a full day of hands-on education activities unique to the North West. Cross-curricular activities are available for all ages and abilities. Our partnership organisations include the Greater Manchester Police Museum, Bolton University and the People’s History Museum.

Students have the opportunity to step into these professional courtrooms, learn more about the legal justice system of past and present and explore careers in law.

Please note, minimum group sizes are 20 students. If you wish to bring fewer than 20 students we, in most cases, will still need to invoice for 20 to cover the costs of delivering the session.

“This was a really unique and engaging activity for our students to get involved in, allowing them to gain a greater understanding of the law and justice system. It was a great opportunity to practice their public speaking and debating skills.”   Stockport Academy
