2019 Halloween events
The National Justice Museum is hosting a variety of Halloween events for all ages throughout October.
The year is 1827. Body-snatchers have been ransacking local grave yards in search of fresh cadavers to sell to Nottingham’s medical schools. However, as of late, one resurrectionist has been seen making late night visits to the County Gaol, where it is rumoured a live-in surgeon has been making horrific “medical adjustments” to the inmates…
Every other Saturday from 28 September. Over 18s only.
Voted the ‘most haunted building’ in the UK! Walk in the steps of those who were condemned, imprisoned and executed in years gone by. Uncover eerie tales and learn of the paranormal experiences within this historic building.
Every other Saturday from 6pm
Over 14s only. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult due to the adult themes of the tour.
Kids’ Ghost Hunter Tours
Around Halloween the National Justice Museum becomes a hive of paranormal activity. Are you brave enough to help our over-worked Ghost Hunter catch the pesky ghosts which are causing mayhem throughout the museum?
Just £6.95 per person. Recommended age 5-10 years old. Tours last approximately 1 hour.
Ghosts of the Caves Tour
Delve deep into the City of Caves and discover the mysterious hidden stories of the past which lurk under the streets of Nottingham. Uncover the ghostly tales of those who lived in the caves and learn of the spirits which still reside there on this special evening tour.
Spirit Tours: National Justice Museum & The Alchemist
Mixing ghostly happenings with the dark art of mixology, the evening starts with a cocktail to steady the nerves, before a spine chilling Ghost Tour around the Museum. Enjoy eerie tales of the city as you are guided through the streets to the beautiful surroundings of The Alchemist to recover with a cocktail and nibbles.

Bonfire Night Event: The Trial of Guy Fawkes
The National Justice Museum is proud to host its first event designed around the needs of autistic people. Come and meet the legendary Guy Fawkes, take a short tour of our punishment gallery and see a silent firework display in our historic Shire Hall.
