Key Stage 3 – 4: Suffragette Study Day

Please note: The Museum of London is currently only able to offer online workshops. The first section of this Study Day will be delivered online, and the Courtroom Workshop section is available either as an online or on-site session. Please get in touch with us to discuss the options available.

During this Suffragette Study Day students will:

  • Meet an actor from the Museum of London playing a militant Suffragette, hear of her experiences and have the opportunity to find out more (online)
  • Take part in a Courtroom Workshop at the Royal Courts of Justice (online or on-site available)
  • Prepare and enact the trial of a well-known Suffragette historical case
  • Discuss and debate historical shifts in the law and compare to the present day

Duration: 4 hours (10.30am – 2.30pm)

Cost: £8.50 per student

Group size: Maximum 35 pupils
