Motion to Appeal is suistable for students who have a good basic understanding of the procedures in law.
Choose from Appeal Themes:
Gang Violence – The appellant is appealing the length of his sentence for his part in a robbery. The defendant admitted during his trial that he knew of the plan to rob the taxi driver, but denied any further involvement. The Court of Appeal Judges will hear the submissions from both the Appellants and Respondents before reaching their decision.
Freedom of Religion – The appellant has brought this case which was originally heard in an employment tribunal. She claims unfair dismissal due to her employers refusal to allow her to wear a Christian cross stating that it breached their uniform policy.
Diminished Responsibility – The appellant was found guilty for murder and attempted murder. She is appealing on the grounds of diminished responsibility, but the jury found her guilty of murder. The Court of Appeal Judges will hear the submissions from both the Appellants and Respondents before reaching their decision.
