Accessibility

We have made every effort to try and make our exhibitions, facilities and services as accessible as possible to all visitors. Our accessibility page contains lots of detail to help you plan an enjoyable and comfortable visit.

Carers and personal assistants go free, but still need a ticket. Please contact us directly to book a free ticket for your carer alongside your paid ticket(s).

Entry to the City of Caves runs in timed slots with limited capacity due to the enclosed nature of the site, so every visitor, including free carers, must be included in the total ticket count for that time slot.

Please bring ID with you, such as your PIP letter, National Disability Card, or staff ID if visiting with an organisation.

Due to the historic nature of the caves, they are unfortunately inaccessible for visitors who use wheelchairs, are bringing prams, or have limited mobility.
