Crime Club: The Madness of Georgian Nottingham
The 1790s were one of the most turbulent eras in Nottingham's history, when riots and rebellions ran rampant in the streets.
Nottingham had gained a reputation as a politically rebellious town. Political riots between the Tory and Whig parties saw mobs attacking buildings and people without remorse, all depending on which party you preferred.
Who would you support? This Crime Club is filled with tales of Georgian madness as the town descended into fights, riots and radicalism.
Real crimes. Real stories. Real evidence.
