Crime Club: Bath Time Killers

This September, Crime Club delves into the chilling world of British serial killers from the first half of the twentieth century.

Brides in the Bath Murders: A case that captivated the nation and became a landmark in forensic pathology and criminal investigation. At the centre of the case was serial killer George Joseph Smith, whose calculated murders of his wives by drowning shocked Edwardian Britain.

Acid Bath Murderer: John Haigh attempted to evade justice by dissolving the bodies of his victims in vats of sulphuric acid, believing that without a body there could be no conviction. His case became one of the most notorious murder investigations of the twentieth century and remains a fascinating study in criminal psychology and forensic science.
