Murder Mystery: Death by Pineapple
Tickets £29
Join us for an evening of intrigue, accusations and suspicion in our new Murder Mystery. This is an immersive experience in the Georgian gaol and our grand courtroom.
Miss Crackle, one of Nottingham’s most fashionable ladies, is on the hunt for a husband.
How best to woo an eligible bachelor, she’s not sure, as all her friends have found suitors. Perhaps the best way is to hold a party at the newly rebuilt Shire Hall and show off her wealth to the whole county?
She hopes to wow the crowd with the splendid vision of… a pineapple. Yes, that most exotic of fruits. How can any man resist?
Unfortunately, her party is ruined when her footman is murdered and, more importantly, the tropical fruit he was guarding was stolen! Who would do such a thing?
Perhaps her best friend, Joan, has done it out of pure jealousy, just because she can’t afford a pineapple of her own. Or maybe that Gaoler Bonington, because he doesn’t want a rich man stealing his love. Or that rich but horrible Mr Horne because… well, he’s just horrible, and it’s the sort of thing he’d do!
Will the party be a disaster? Will the killer of the footman be discovered and, most importantly, WHERE IS THE PINEAPPLE?
The characters you will encounter at the murder mystery are fictional but inspired by real Nottingham people from history.
