Embroidered Objects

On arrival, participants will go into the museum gallery to visit the 30 Objects Representing Justice exhibition. This exhibition explores what justice looks like through a selection of powerful objects spanning over 800 years.

With the guidance of artist Nicki Dennett, they will make a few quick and simple sketches of an exhibit of their choice.

We will go back to the Transformers room and transfer our drawing onto our fabric. The fabric will be put into a small embroidery hoop to be embroidered and embellished. Once complete, a ribbon will be attached to the top of the hoop for hanging. This can be taken away, complete with the hoop, ready to hang in the participant's home.
