We are gearing up for a fun-packed October half-term, with plenty of activities and events for the whole family to enjoy. And with our annual pass, there’s always something to keep you coming back!

Object Handling – Tuesday 20 and Tuesday 27 October, 11:30am - 1:30pm
Get hands-on with history in special object-handling sessions. 

Discover rarely seen items from our fascinating collection, each linked to the Working Through It exhibition, and uncover the powerful stories they hold about the purpose and type of work done in prison throughout history. 

Potions and Prescriptions Workshop - Wednesday 21 October, 10am - 12pm
Explore rhymes and recipes in this easy creative writing workshop. Lucy Graces will be helping you to create your own written remedies to take home in a glass bottle.

Loom Weaving –  Thursday 22 and Thursday 29 October, 11am - 3:30pm
Come and try your hand at some loom weaving down in the Night Cell corridor and find out more about the historical work prisoners were expected to do.

Leave Your Mark Workshop - Friday 30 October, 10am - 12pm
Get involved, be creative, and make your mark in this hands-on workshop with street artist Kid30. Inspired by the current gallery exhibition, you'll explore the bold world of typography through printing, road signs and contemporary lettering.  No experience needed—just bring your imagination and leave your mark!
