KS2 Gunpowder Plot Courtroom Workshop
LOCATION: Outreach
Bring history and the law into your classroom with our exciting outreach workshop exploring the story of the Gunpowder Plot and the mock trial of Guy Fawkes.
Our facilitator transforms your classroom into a court as the students take on the roles or Judge, Clerk, Usher, Barristers, Defendant and Jury.
Students will take part in the interactive story of the plot up to Guy Fawkes' arrest, then his trial in a modern courtroom format. The story then continues with a comparison between the 1606 trial and how trials are conducted today.
Our pop-up courtroom places students right at the centre of the action—making learning memorable, engaging, and fun.
