WWII - Policing the Home Front

LOCATION: NORTH 

Take your class back in time to the 1940s at the Greater Manchester Police Museum to become new recruits in the wartime Special Constabulary. They will meet their police instructors for an immersive day to learn about rationing, air raid precautions, spying, police procedures, drill, the cells and the charge office. They will also learn about courtroom procedures by taking part in a mock trial based on a real WWII black market case in the historic magistrates court.
