KS4: COURTROOM WORKSHOPS
LOCATION: NORTH
The Courtroom Workshop is a 2 hour interactive session, visiting the moot courtroom at the Manchester Metropolitan University, which provides an important opportunity for pupils to engage with local higher education institutions and to start thinking about future career choice.
Our workshops bring the law to life through hands-on, authentic and unforgettable learning experiences. In the Moot Courtroom, students will explore a contemporary case. - Gain an understanding of how law is made, how it functions and how it affects people daily
- Recognise the differences between civil/criminal law
- Discuss and debate real sentencing options
- Be encouraged to aspire to Higher Education opportunities
