Everyone is welcome at the National Justice Museum

02/05/2025
The National Justice Museum is an educational charity, exploring both historical and contemporary themes of social justice. We welcome everyone to our building to learn more about justice throughout history, creating a safe and welcoming space where we can learn together.
We strive to make the museum a kind and inclusive place, where our exhibitions, collections, and events are open to all. We want to reassure all our visitors, especially our trans and non-binary visitors, that they are welcome here.
Our collection includes objects from the women’s suffrage movement, the Reform Bill Riots, and the door from Oscar Wilde’s cell in Reading Gaol, where he was held for “gross indecency”. These objects demonstrate what can happen when we deny social justice to people. We must continue to learn from history, grow our communities, and respect each other.
