Tuesday 17 February

Our creative sessions are free and open to all. Join us to make and create together and contribute to our growing museum! The sessions will be led by artists, makers, and writers, all of whom are influenced by this unique museum. Register using the links below.

A Clue as to You Workshop (10am - 12pm)

The smallest object can help identify a person – it could be a button, an earring, or a favourite coat.

In A Clue to You, we are going to be thinking about the objects we associate with ourselves, friends and families, exploring them through writing, drawing and storytelling.

Free tickets, booking required. Click here.

Nature's Mark: Printing Through Time (1:30pm - 3:30pm)

Explore our long-standing connection to nature through design in this lino print workshop with Lucy.

Inspired by the current National Justice Museum exhibition, you’ll observe and collect natural motifs from historical objects and create your own nature designs and prints while reflecting on the evolving role of printmaking and its relationship to our connection to nature across time.

Free tickets, booking required. Click here.

Wednesday 18 February: 10:30am - 4pm

Forensic Techniques: Fingerprinting

Join us in the Transformers room to explore and have a go at some of the different techniques forensic teams use to investigate a crime.

You will be able to try lifting fingerprints and learn what patterns you can see, investigate footwear marks, create a footwear print and examine what fibres you can find on clothing.
