Making it Work
Does the work we do define us as people? How can we tell engaging and creative stories about work and working? How can we use photographs and objects to imagine new ways of working?
Join writer and poet Leanne Moden for a fun and friendly writing workshop, using images and objects to write about work. From housework and childcare, blue-collar work, and new high-tech jobs – the work we love, and the jobs we’d rather avoid – we’ll be finding playful and accessible ways to write poems and stories about work. Using images and artefacts from the museum’s collection as inspiration to fire up our imaginations.
This workshop is part of the 2026 Nottingham Poetry Festival.
