Objects Tell Stories
At the beginning of the workshop, we will visit the museum's current ’30 objects’ exhibition. Here you will have a look around and find one of the objects that you find interesting.
You will have a little time to take in the object, find out the story behind the object and have the opportunity to make some rough sketches of it.
You don’t need to be an artist; the sketch can concentrate on textures, small details and marks on the object. Write some words that stand out from its story and use your phone to take photos of it.
With the guidance of the artist, you will use all of your gathered information for inspiration to create your own mini printed zine using gel plate mono printing and letter stamping.
