Punching Through

Embroidery has been a longstanding part of life in prisons; this session with Flossie & Bean will teach you a different technique: Punch Needle. 

Punch Needle embroidery has a long history, from being used to decorate medieval garments and religious panels to rugs. In this week’s workshop, participants will learn the basics of Punch Needle and produce a small festive hanging which they can take away with them.
